I think it is really SoulStorm Brew. SoulStorm seemed to be a concept in AO before final revisions of the story was made.

I don't think is that, because SoulStorm Brew is green, and when a Mudokon drinks it, he becomes dark green. Paramites are dark and so it's possible Abe didn't drink SoulStorm Brew. And if in AO it was only a conception, I don't think in the unofficial FAQ is considered it.

Some say he is just a very gloomy person, other say the Paramite thing. I actually believe you grow increasingly blue as you become more magically gifted.

I don't think. Many Mudokons have shdes of blue, but Abe is all blue!!! I think he was a normal Mudokon and after a mutation (maybe our supposition) he was chosen for free the others.
