Crysis is about an alien invasion and realtime lighting, it is a first person shooter whose physics knock the pants off of HL2.
In Assasins creed you play as a hired killer in the middle ages (presumably) it has a 3rd person camera and play similar to Prince of Persia.
Open world environment.
Think Oblivion meets sands of time.
Most gameplay demos show you with a white cloak, speculation states that this may be because the protagonist has some strange curse.
Also, you die in one hit.
