Aaaand on another note: I did the Halloween thing when I was in the US. I dressed as a creepy nun. Well, actually I dressed as a nun and the creepy thing happened by itself. Trick or treating is suprisingly fun, even when I really don't eat junk food. That said, I did have to pretend to be a high-school kid rather than the 23 year old I really was.
Householder: "Oh, so you go to SLO-High, do you?"
Me: "Oh, yes"
HH: "You must be an exchange student then, with that accent"
Me: "Ummm... yes?"
HH: "Do you know Svetlanka?"
Me (sensing a trick): "Ummm..."
HH: "You must do, she's the only other exchange student in SLO-High. She'd be in the same year as you too..."
Me: "Oh, my friends have gone on to the next house. Gotta go!"
