2D, definitely. Don't tell me Munch's Oddysee can even compete with the detail and beauty of the first two games, especially Abe's Oddysee.
Thing is, when you go from 2D to 3D, you're basically refocusing from art to gameplay. That's all well and good, as far as gameplay goes, but when you're sacrificing the art which is Oddworld...I dunno.
