Max, on the subject of Scuba Toads, do we know any backstory to them? I know that Scuba Toads were big fans of the Steef and rowed down the Mongo River, but anything else? Like, what kind of mutualistic relationship did they have with the Grubbs? Did they share a similar fate as the Grubbs when the Mongo River was being invaded?

That is one concept, yes, and Ma'Spa is the source of the Mongo (at least the Mongo that was going to be in the Munch/Abe games). From early Munch's Oddysee cuts, or possible Munch's Exoddus.
