Yup. That's because I love drawing dark stuff. :]

I lately watched Pans Labyrinth. Ah, what a bittersweet movie.
Though, I expected this guy here to appear more times in those two hours. Oh, well.
Wow, was it hard for me to draw something about "real people" for a change since the movie itself is not a cartoon but a story with actors. With damn good customes and stuff, heh. There was only a few things made by computer. I guess, it was only the fairies that Pan carried around.
But it was worth drawing that instead of cartoon characters. I learned a lot.
Still, I think that need a bit more practice I'm not quite satisfied enough with how his head turned out. It looks a liiiittle bit more round in the original. But I noticed that when I was finished. So, too late.
Speaking of anatomy: Yes, he does hold the knife like that in the movie! His long fingers are as weird as his legs.
And I forgot to get a reference where I could see his feet. That's why you can't really see them here.
Oh, the date is actually not that correct too. Heh heh, I drew this from October 6th evening to October 7th in the morning till 3 am. ^^
That's why my parents would probably have freaked out if they caught me going to the computer and printing out more references when I usually should get some sleep already.
Pan is pretty hard to draw for beginners.
