It's true. I'll tell you that even though I'm used to it, it's still startling when I catch a glimpse of something; a light streak perhaps, see a reflection of someone standing behind me as clear as day when there's nobody there, or hear someone talking to me in the dark. Yes, it is weird- especially when I see this really short spirit who's always hanging around behind my monitors in my workshop.. a midget maybe? What's really startling is when I'm typing *at this computer* an I feel someone looking over my shoulder like they're reading what I'm typing. I just turn the monitor off and it will go away. I'd say it happens often, although it probably happens to everybody but they just don't know it or can't sense it. I've been posesssed on numerous occasions; none of which was by any harmful spirit. I know that it's happening because I feel lightheaded and strange. I'm then totally aware of what I'm doing and saying but I take on a different personality and may do or say stuff that I would not normally do or say. Know that this is completely different from an individual having "multiple personalities." Mainly because it happens right after I sense that somebody is there and it gets cold. Telling people about this is not my favorite thing to do since they usually think I'm a weirdo, outsider, or from a christian: "a demon." Cut me some slack! I've also legitimately communicated with spirits just using a tape recorder. The process I use involves EVP or Electronic Voice Phenomena in which you record questions as you're directly talking to the spirit(s), leaving about a minute of silence in between each question. Upon playback, you can hear answers to your questions on most cases, with the volume turned all the way up. I'll end here because I don't want someone to complain about going off-topic.
