I think the concept of good and evil are too simplistic and primitive, in reality it's much more complicated than that. There are large grey areas.
I try never to blame people for what they do, because every action one makes is a direct consequence of many other elements that have contributed to their life from day one. I remind myself that had I been in their shoes, I would have done the exact same thing. Of course, the appropriate steps must be made to eliminate them from the arena in which they're doing harm. Rehabilitation is usually a better way of dealing with people rather than retribution.
Regarding spirituality, I do think there's a "spiritual realm" - for lack of better words. The fact that we are seperate, conscious entities interests me. Having recently lost a close member of my family, it's nice to think that there might be some kind of life after we die. Of course, what we want isn't always the truth, but it's a comforting thought. I guess all people have a hunger for meaning, and until it's revealed to us, we'll satisfy that hunger with whatever we can get.
