Yeah your right, you believe by faith but, in order to have faith you have to read the word of God, the bible. hear the word, believe, repent, confess, get baptize, are the five steps of salavation. God talks through you through the bible. If you don't read it, your faith will be weak. When Jesus rose from the death, his deciples and everyone saw him. But we haven't seen it. We have to read the bible in order to have faith in his existence. Understand? I can post a scripture if you like on that.
