Yeah, I agree with that.
I've noticed that they really hate it if you don't seem to care about it.
Just act calm, and confident. It seriously pisses them off, because they realise their insults aren't effecting you.

I can actually back that theory up. While I'm not quite the bullying type, I have had experiences in my childhood where I have laid down what I had believed to be an insult worthy of the Big Man Himself, only to have it merely brushed aside with a 'Yeah, so?'
I went and smashed my window that afternoon.
