I think PV's point is that if we shelter the little childrens from anything vaguely sexual, they'd grow up to be honest, straight, god-fearing christians. Personally, I think that it's more likely to produce slut-whores who'll throw themselves at anyone who winks at them.

I remember being 6-7, fascinated by male genitalia, and did a few things with another boy I would certainly say were sexual, or maybe erotic, in nature.

I can't say that anything like that occurred to me at that age but I do know several guys who were aware of their sexuality by then.
