OOC: No. No one has done it before, and you'd essentially be changing Oddworld's larger history almost completely. There's a reason why we don't add new species, go do that on another forum or RP.
And Oddworld doesn't have any alternate dimension mixing or anything either.

It has been done before. One RPG actually revolved around the idea of a new possible species on an island. It was around the time Red Muse was moderator and possible when Hobo was in the RPG business as well.
