I liked Runescape because it delievered the basic product (having fun) very nicely. You shouldn't care as much about graphics and shit, that will just deter from the game itself, from the world that these people must have put a lot into. I might honestly take Runescape over other free MMORPG's like Kal Online. At least on RuneScape you get a bigger choice of skills and goals; the graphics may be better on other games, but at least Runescape won't make your mind weep from lagging, and finally, RuneScape has the same player-maturity ratio as all other online games do. Besides, do you really play an online game for the people especially?
The only reason so many people hate RuneScape here is because the older members' taste in games is entirely superficial and the tweens are just wanting to up their reps by agreeing with them.
