OOC: Currently there's 2 4 of hearts in play-1 for me, 1 for Zerox. I'll change mine to diamonds if it's easiest. Oh and Zerx, don't you mean he discarded the Ace or Jack? As if he discarded the 7 he'd have 3, 4, 6, J, A so couldn't get a straight unless he drew another 7 as well as a 5.

Jerik eyed his hand, and kept in mind the signals from Flak as to the others' cards. Flak himsef had the 2 of diamonds, 2 of hearts, 6 of diamonds, King of clubs, and 3 of diamonds.
The newest arrival, Salve, was in a similar predicament to Jerik- 1 off a straight, but nothing apart from that. Tyre had a pair of jacks, the curently best hand. The odds of Jerik drawing a 3 were low- there was one left in the pack.
He sighed, and lay down his cards.
"Fold."
he wouldn't let this ten-a-penny mudokon gambler embarrass him. He was going to up the stakes from now on. Force the mudokon out by large bets. There was no way that wannabe big-shot could out-last him money-wise.
