Actually, horrorcore isn't far off from that at all. It's rap inspired by horror movies and the like. Type Jedi Mind Tricks into Limewire and you'll see what I'm talking about.

You're a "true" emo, namely really friggin loud heavy metal bands with a bit of personal stuff. Emo is a product of hardcore punk, not metal, and it's always been about being intensely emotional (
read: depressed). Also, contrary to popular belief, it's worthwhile music.
