On-topic: I am straight as a die, although I often am the subject of gay jokes. Dunno why it happens, but it doesn't bother me.
Off-topic: I think by saying he despises transexuality, he means he finds the idea/viewpoint of it disturbing to him. And I don't see what's wrong with that, since last I checked we were allowed to have likes and dislikes.
Also, does someone's political affiliation (Or religious affliation, to be fair about the Islam comments) make them a scumbag who deserves to die now? That's just a bit generalizing as well, isn't it?
