A Mudokon, after lifting a large barrel ("Should've asked me to do that"), addressed him and the others "I'm just cooking the eggs, and...I'm pretty much done here with 'em. Do you wanna serve them up or anything?...and hey, if you need to lift any more barrels, you should ask me, okay? I hardly want you hurting yourself with them" he offered the bowl to Kole.
Chelon was now almost surprised, not because of the Mudokon's little to no reaction to himself, but particularly how it compared to the presumably tougher Slig general from before who had signed him up, who, though he wasn't excessively perplexed, was certainly much more so than this lowly Mudokon, who by contrast you'd think to be a complete coward. He eyed it, perhaps it was just the individual, but he couldn't be sure.
