When the last book came out I was working on a summer camp in the US and there was one little schmuck who found out the ending and would randomly shout out "********** dies!", just to wreck it for any of the little kids who hadn't gotten to the end yet.

Someone purposefully ruined the ending of a book I really liked just to spite me. It sucked hard.
