We continued to build our base. we had finished the skeleton, but had to alter the plans a little - we would have to make careful use of the shafts we used to get underground with (we had contacts in the states who four weeks ago we had some professionals build a simple but stable hole under our few acres that we had bought). Nothing can go to waste. we would build an extra cargo bay, an extra weapons department, an extra medical room and (most important of all) an extra lavatory block.
We were now moving on to building the interior - the 'skeleton' is simply a series of beams and girders keeping the 'mine' stable.
After about nine hours, we had our walls installed. They were black (but glowed red - many lights, blue, green, yellow, red, reflected from wall to wall, some walls had very tiny yellow lights, some four inch by four inch sized square - shaped lights.
We were moving on to building the factory. This would present a problem. We needed to install a sheet of glass that would cover a whole 90 yard by 100 yard wall without letting any water in. We had to rack our brains to think how we could do that.
Eventually, we managed, but had to install the machinery in the factory...
