About the Shrink/s hating Sam, I don't think they hate
her, just their
job. A psychiatrist who didn't care about their patient wouldn't be very helpful or effective, and the Vykkers would at least try to make their creation worth making. They wouldn't want to waste their precious moolah on something that didn't work.
