I was like drawing some sketches. Okay, the quality looks weird...
These sketches were inspired by the CD "Le Peuple Migrateur" (I have no idea what this means but it's music from a movie about birds when they're flying southward). If you have the CD, it was the numbers 3, 6, 16 and 17 that pretty inspired me to come up with this part of my story.
Finally, I got some names for my characters.
The Priestess' name is Kiho and her half-brother's name is Kana.
These are pictures about the scene I had in mind after Kiho ran away from the humans who just murdered her mother (which I'm gonna call Mahina). Kiho was still young and very scared and went deep into the nearest forest where she met her half-brother, accidentally. Kana asked her why she was pale-faced and what was going on. Kiho could not cry because she is not a full-human, however, she looked truly sad and she did feel the pain in her heart very bad. Then she told him about the murder of their mother and suddenly hugged Kana out of fear to loose him too. (Notice that these guys never hug like humans by wrapping one's arms around somebody, because this is like holding somebody just tight. They only lean a bit against each other to show their love, so that they can part easily at will, in case one of them doesn't want to be hugged. The only ones Kana holds tight is his prey. :] )
Kana felt sorry for Kiho, though, he knew about humans, death and life very well. He learned it from his father. But he gave his half-sister some comfort and a home where she could live for a while anyway.
Kiho knew that she had to return someday because she was the only one who could protect her temple as good as her mother did once. But for now, she spent her time being together with her half-brother to be far away from the humans she was afraid of.
Don't worry, she'll come over the death of Mahina and return to the humans who hate her and always try to desecrate her temple. And fight.
