IC:
Colonel Vernel turned to the younger Mudokon and the elderly female one;
"You two, go over to the Amalgam building and start cooking up breakfast. I'm feeling hungry, and I'm sure Port Longside didn't have anything good for our new employees."
He then watched another Slig walk up to him;
"You, Jackie, go over and keep an eye on the old Mudokon and the weak one. Make sure they cook us up a nice breakfast!"
Vernel watched yet another Slig (Gorrck) march out and explain himself while signing. He was much more disciplined and professional, and Vernel was liking his work ethic already;
"I like you! You get to be a sergeant! Go over to the southeast corner and go and watch over #55,431 and anyone else who I send there! Kill any Mudokons and bring them to the Vykker! Do well, and in a few months I might even get make you my right hand Slig and make you Captain!"
Vernel turned to another Slig (Mik);
"Straighten up and fly right boy! We don't want no Slackers here! Go and follow that guy I just made sergeant to the top of the Southeast tower! Shoot any Mudokons you find and bring them to the creepy Vykker!"
The Chronicler then stepped up to Vernel, and he switched his tone to a more casual one while signing the papers the Chronicler offered;
"Hello my friend. Nice to see an equal in here. You look like a good kind of fellow, so your my Chief Financial Officer. Keep in contact with Chris the Head Medic so you can sell some organs, and maintain the budget. You get to sleep in my Executive Office!"
Vernel switched back to his military tone and turned to the Big Bro Slig;
"You, you get to guard the armoury! Shoot anyone who doesn't have permission from me or some other executive. Also, watch over and try and keep any Mudokons trying to escape through one of the gates!"
Finally, Vernel turned back to Chris the Vykker;
"I'm straight, you nancy boy ranger of glutii! You can sleep in my office, by the way, but no touchy! No touching anyone but my secretary! He will return your calls. I won't. And my name is Vernel!"
