In my experience over the last few months, it is actually the more recent members who are strongly attacking incoherent newcomers. New members deserve a degree of lenience so that they can come to understand the way online discussion in general and OWF in particular function. However, it needs to be said that some of the newest members are some of the worst, most rabid, and slow‐witted I’ve ever had the pleasure to help out. Any assimilation of them into our ways is a real testiment to the patience and helpfulness of some of us.
That said, I will come down on unwarranted newb‐abuse like an elephant.
