Somi was aware of a lot of shouting coming from near the lab. Hoping it had nothing to do with Anni, she headed in that direction.
Kix was standing in the doorway when she arrived, but walked inside the room before Somi could get her attention. She was a little upset and more than a little worried. Why would Kix be there unless one of her friends were hurt? So either the male mudokons or Anni must be there, surely?
There were too many people crowded around thelab for Somi to get closer so she retreated back down the corridor into the shadows.

Dionysia watched as Nat and Scri walked away and then leant over and whispered to Arnie, "I don't trust that Nat guy. The way he's been acting doesn't really make sense, like one minute he seems like an idiot and then he starts talking all posh. I think he could be the intruder, though I'm not definite. I think you should keep away from him, but don't say anything in case I'm wrong and we let the real native know what's going on."
