I am pretty sure they were just rejected items, the turtle-esque thing was probably something that went along with the Grubb crystals (I.E. to be sold), the two bombshells some kind of super weapon that was godd for getting out of situations with too many enemies, but proabably cost too much and killed them instead of merely knocking them out.
The microphone was proabably an early concept for a howler punk add-on that (when placed) made normal chippunks increase their attraction radius.
