Just saw PotC 3 as well.

I found the pirate election part funny, because they all voted for themselves, even when they said it. Even if the whole part was a bit stupid.
I also loved how everybody was backstabbing left and right. It was hard to keep track of who was screwing who, but eventually it came out in the end. I think Jerry Bruck was brilliant for letting Will be a bad guy, at least for awhile.
Another thing I liked was how they made Jack look more nuts than ever. The multiples made me groan at first, but it made me laugh eventually.
Jack's focus on getting his way was amazing. He was using everyone to achieve his own ends, but I think it was pretty smart of him to be able to plan everything.
Finally, I'm going to say this is better than numero dos, but not as good as number one. Great movie, entertaining, but the X factor just wasn't there.
