I think this is a good idea, and I think most authors wouldn't have a problem with it - it might just get them more readers
But I don't know, some might prefer for their stories not to be listed there - perhaps older stories that they're not so proud of :P
Personally I wouldn't mind having a thread like that, though, it would be nice to have an organised list instead of having to sort through the forum... Perhaps it could even have a small sample of what each story was about? (similar to the back of some books)
