I just remembered an event that happened during lunch in my house several years ago. My dad always has complaints about food my mom makes. Then again, this wouldn't have happened if I lost the nerve at that moment...
Something like this:

Dad:"This rice is kinda dry"
Me:"Shut up!"(I knew I was gonna regret this...)
Dad:"WHAT!? How dare you speak to me like that!?"
Me:"Every single time mom makes an effort about making lunch you're the only one who has complaints!"
Dad:"You can't talk to me like that!"
Me:"Why?"
Dad:"er, um, ah... Cause I'm OLDER!!!!"

CAUSE I'M OLDER!!!??? GIMME A FRIGGIN BREAK! Nobody should insult my mom's cooking!(I guess it's the reason I'm overweight...)

Anytime you had something like that happen to you?
