Same here. My BF has it, so I play it when I go over.
Ooh la la, yet another one of my internet friends has a boyfriend....And I don't, but oh well. Heres the next chapter.

CHAPTER TWO: ENTER FLUFFY

The new room was completely dark and silent as he stood up slowly, pawing around to find his way around in the pitch black darkness. There were no walls nearby to him in the strange room, as he dared take a step. His foot touched something small, something alive, something that made a creaking whining noise. Terrified, he relaxed a bit and knelt down slowly to feel it, to try and figure out what it was. It was a small slimy creature with arms, no legs, and a tentacled mouth. It sort of cried upon being held by the stranger, squealing and wriggling before slipping out of his hands and dropping to the ground. He listened to it crawl and squirm across the floor, unhurt, as it stopped far away and began whining again. His eyes had only slightly adjusted to the dark as he tried to walk forward again, hearing another squeal as he stepped on top of another creature. He removed his foot quickly, having already provoked it into crying. Loudly. He felt fear and guilt as more of the strange wet creatures woke up and started to cry too.

Stepping back, his heels only nudged more strange baby creatures that creaked in confusion as they awoke. The once silent room was now filled with creaks, squeals, cries, whines and the sound of the babies shuffling and crawling across the floor as he stood still, not wanting to make the situation worse. As his eyes further adjusted to the pitch black dark, he could see them, a lighter colour than the steel floor, moving in all directions. He looked all around him, seeing he was surrounded by the possibly hundred or more infants. He stood still in fear and watched as they all seemed to crawl past him in the dark dusty windowless room, like the one he had been in before, only bigger and darker with no obvious exits. Curious, he strained his hybrid eyes to see what they were crawling to. They had gathered around something, something very big, and were squealing loudly to it, their squeals echoing around the room. He could make out the outline of whatever it was, tall, lumpy and reaching up to the ceiling.

Fear surged through him like lightning as he heard a deep rumbling breath that he felt on his skin and smelt. It felt warm and reeked of raw flesh. He heard the unknown creature growl as it awoke, its voice getting louder and louder, more threatening and rumbling. He froze as he felt the most scariest moment in his life, seeing the creature’s eyes open. There was over a dozen of them on its head, and they were all red and glowed electronically in the dark. The creature snarled and he screamed, amongst the sound of the whining babies.

==========================================================

He could still remember that day he’d finally left the nursery. He was full of hope to finally get out of that awful place. He had his bucket and cloth, ready for scrubbing like he was going to be made to in his new job. He was at a train station, probably Feeco depot, with a large group of dozens of other mudokon children, with his two friends by his side. They chatted and giggled in the large rusty room, before silencing with the rest as the walking sligs came in. They were armed with bats, which wasn’t new to him, and were grouchy as usual. He looked on with his brothers as a loud rattling train with a glukkon face at the front came along the long tunnel, on the strong metal railing it hung into. It braked and slowly came to a stop as the curious mudokon children watched. The mudokon to his left held onto him in fear while the other giggled excitedly.

“We’re finally gonna get a job!” The one on his right squealed in delight. “Won’t that be fun Kico? We’ll get to sleep where we want and do stuff!” He chattered happily through his stitched lips. Already the stitches had slackened, along with the rest. It had hurt badly getting them done, the sligs said it would keep them quiet. If they spoke, they would be shot mercilessly, a thing that concerned him about becoming a slave. Fearful or not, he didn’t have a choice in the matter, they were all going to become scrubs. Kico looked at his friend on his left. He shyly chewed at a fingernail, still holding that rag and bucket in his other hand. “Are you okay Lido?” He whispered. “Yeah…” The youngest mudokon said faintly. They ducked as a bat was swung in their direction. They looked up, terrified to see an angry slig wielding his bat. “Unless yer wanna git shot, I suggest you shaddap!” He snapped, walking off towards the door. The door to the train that had automatically opened.

The mudokons walked as they were all ordered and shoved into the train carriage. As they were all bundled in, the three friends found themselves surrounded by other mudokons to the point they couldn’t move. The door was slid shut behind them as the sligs left, leaving them in the dark metal compartment. They could only stand until later, when they slept. It was pitch black in darkness as the mudokons slept silently, piled on and against each other as the train rumbled and shook as it moved at high speed to their new workplace.

I am a man. Do not call me otherwise, or you are doing it wrong. Times correctly guessed as a man: Patrick: 1, Mitsur: 1, Daxter king: 1, OANST: More than once, Nemo: 1, alf's brother's mate: 1, Nate: 1, Anonyman!: 1. The assumption everyone is male probably comes from the fact 90% of characters in Oddworld are male.
