His natural distrust of them told him the story was just that, a story, but on the other hand, he himself had certain powers over technology, so it wasn't something he wasn't familiar with. His abilities weren't natural, though, they'd come with the vykker "enhancements."

Yet another train pulled up at the RuptureFarms train station. Hembar stepped slowly out and looked around the station. Empty. She looked around briefly, then lifted a hand up to her eyes. Using her abilites, she started mapping out a good portion of what the factory layout was like just from the train station. She would have to move around the factory more to notice more details and to take in the whole factory, but this was a good starting point.
She suddenly moved her hand away from her face, looking surprised. There was wildlife inside the factory! She started moving in the direction of the cafeteria...
