You know that they're supposed to look like that. They have no concern for the quaint, human values of aesthetic quality.

I've met most of those before. Those chimeras, the lizardfish, the squid... that sea spider is a classic example of a deep sea pycnogonid, very weird arthropods, I identified a wayward specimen dredged up in Southampton Water just a few months ago. Their bodies are so small that their digestive system extends into the legs, and they have no respiratory system.

The "blob fish" is the only one too badly damaged to identify.
