Dead chicks are not usually capable of growing feathers... Must have been a misunderstanding there.
But the idea itself sounds interesting. I haven't heard of anyone who raised a rook before. Appart from the crowing wake-up calls, how does the bird behave? Does he/she follow you around and stuff?
