The shout had startled her, but she visibly relaxed when she saw it was a fellow mudokon- a female even- that had noticed her. She nodded in response to her question, then winced as she fell. Looking around and seeing no one else nearby (specifically any sligs that would frown upon mudokons helping each other), she approached her fellow mud and helped her to her feet.
