TOL’s unofficial F.A.Q. It makes sense that there should be multiple endings. Every previous Oddworld game did, and there’s even an equivalent to rescuing Mudokons in
Stranger’s Wrath&mash;collecting Moolah. It stands to reason, then, that there would be different outcomes depending on whether or not you had the 20 000 Moolah by the time you get to Doc’s Mongo Retreat.
But the story is quite clear. D. Caste Raider reached Doc long before Stranger could, whether he had the Moolah or not, so it couldn’t possibly make the blindest bit of difference.
