I'm not sure whether I'm looking forward to this or not, I've yet to decide. I've got the game and I love it but I'm worried about how it'll end up. I'm a big believer in game movies staying in the CGI realm. In other words, CG characters with actors doing the voices.

Although, in regards to Daxter King's post, the similarities between Kim and Vin Diesel are unreal. It's almost as if Kim was based on a mix of Vin Diesel's characters.
Well, it's not like that but I like to think it is.
If they go trough with this I agree that placing it in a real setting would kill the mood. If you're making a movie about a game then you have to keep it the way it was in the game. A CG movie is the only way to make this half way succesfull otherwise you'll get a Doom effect which, let's all be honest, genuinely sucked giant ass.
