A Gears of War movie eh? Sounds pretty interesting.
The campaign to me felt empty of plot, and its to boring for me to play without a friend.
The multiplayer however is very entertaining to me, what gets me playing it over and over again is the hope of getting those achievements. For some reason being able to brag I have one hundred curb stomps appeals to me.

I'm afraid to say this sense some of you dislike it, but I am a Halo fan.
The game was very easy for me to pickup and play, when I played Halo One I knew practically nothing about the plot I just liked shooting the cute alien Grunts.
I don't know what it was, but I enjoyed playing the Master Chief far more then Marcus. Perhaps it was his mysterious identity and fear nothing attitude that gained my love. In certain scenes in Gears of War it just seemed they were trying to stress the fact that Marcus was tough as nails, this just turned me off.

The multiplayer of Halo was very fun and enjoyable, it may be the variety of weapons and the innovative stages that make me love it so.
Also Halo Two's online' rank system had me much more wanting to play then Gears of War's achievements. Were it not for the many cheaters I would still be playing today.

While I waited for Halo Two to come out I discovered that their were books and that Halo actually had a plot which I fell in love with. The multifarious mysteries keeps me coming back for more. I can't wait for Halo Three to come out so I can finally have answers to all my questions. Though knowing Bungie I'm sure that not everything will be revealed.
