Ike again, looked out of a nearby window... The sunset reminded him of his past... For some reason, it was particularly beautiful... He walked over and half-mindedly sketched it. It was as if he was in some sort of trance.
Then, he began to speak to no-one in particular.
"Yes... I'm going to get a job here... I'll be able to help people... Of course I haven't forgotten... Everything will be fine... Yes, I'm doing well... There are so many other hopeful souls here too... Some seem upset, angry, and a little confused, but mostly... hopeful..."
Ike shut his eyes for a minute, and then opened them again. He put his notepad away dreamily, and turned around slowly... He looked at the others in the group...
"Yes, hopeful..."
