Yea but I'm not parading my sexuality around on the forum. I make an occasional joke about it and even then only when other people start about it. So I don't see how you can be comparing it with what I wrote in the post.
Nate: Yea good for them, but do they have to do it in a way where they hurt the rest of the community? The point I was making is that they are confirming a stereotype that makes people hate gay people in the first place. The way the parade is done defeats the entire purpose of the parade.
Also, anyone thinking I'm a hypocrite. What WOULD be hypocritical is when I'd say gay people are weird, not normal and sick. I'm just pissed about the stupid gay priders fighting for a good cause just as I would be pissed at a guy who ties a dog down and forces it into sex and calling it zoophilia for the entire world to hear. It confirms a stereotype which does NOT need to be confirmed in any way so people need to stop doing it.
