Well all Australians are English. Exept for those scrary Aboriginese!

I was about to say that that is the stupidest thing you've ever said but... there's a lot of competition for that title.
For one thing, more early Australians were Irish than English, what with poverty in Ireland pushing people either to crime (and then transportation) or to new opportunities on the other side of the planet. In any case, more than half of Australia's current population have immigrated since WWII, most from mainland Europe and Asia.
Don't get me started on the Aborigines comment.
