Paramit of War, the enemies (especially the Flesh Atronachs) seem to be a lot stonger, having the equivalent of a Journeyman skill in a weapon skill. Meaning they can disarm you. Until The Shovering Isles, I have never been disarmed. So you just gotta keep looking in the general area where you lost the sword. It helps having Nighteye or Light.

Finished most of the quests yesterday. Meaning I can't find anymore. 30 hours, my ass. even reverted to an older save to get the last Archievement, the one where you have to pick whether you wanna be Duke of Mania, or Duke of Dementia.
