Aida jumped at the sudden appearance of the two beings on the stairway, having been studying the map before looking up at hearing their footsteps. Panic rose in her chest again at the sight of the slig, but this time she quelled it enough to not run away. Instead she immediately lowered her eyes to the floor, shaking her head. She was lost as well.
