My suggestions: (without reading most of the above posts)

1. The interface is just...weird. It's too spaced out and a bit harsh on the eyes.
2. I'm sure someone told you, but maybe try using Spellcheck?
3. I can't click on any of the links in 'Creatures'...is it supposed to be like that or will there be additional information added?

Also:
1: It's great to see someone with the will to create an Oddworld site. Just make sure to follow it through, yes, it's hard, tiring, sometimes boring work, but if and when you ever finish it, the feeling of accomplishment you get is all worth it.

Oh and I also believe you need to tie up some legal stuff, like add a disclaimer and ask for permission to add the fansites to your 'Links' list from the owners of those fansites. I don't know if you've done that already seeing as you didn's say, but just in case.
