You most certainly are not. I found some of the endings humorous, although a few were actually depressing. For example, the good ending in AO had such a dark feeling surrounding it, that it actually saddened me.

The bad endings kinda made me feel a tad sorry for Abe.
The Munch's Oddysee bad ending is funny, I like it and don't think it's scary at all.
