I don't quite follow, are you looking for the firmware upgrades for the PSP or an actual PSP emulator? I'm going to assume the first, because you actually have one (Happy belated Birthday
). There are a few links you might want to check out. I personally do not have a PSP, so I cannot tell you for sure whether or not your PSP might get corrupted, but I'll scoop around for some more info and try and bring everything into perspective for you. More to come.

Alright, the firmare version you'll be looking for is;
v3.02oe-b -
Note that once you pass v3.03,
you cannot downgrade your PSP. v3.02oe-b - will enable the PSP to load and play PSX games that have been backed up.
