With a few exceptions, notably the mods, past and present, you guys are behaving pretty atrociously. Suggestions for the forums should be discussed maturely, since they could affect all of us. Overreacting, insulting and misquoting each other is not going to get us anywhere.
Iconoclast: Whenever a new guy joins, short of lurking around with a few innocuous posts here and there, they will undergo a trial by fire. You didn't do yourself any favours by posting your debut thread entitled "Lorne you money grubbing freak!", which turned otherwise reasonable and polite members against you. Attempting to make and direct sweeping changes as your first contribution, especially after pissing off so many people, was never going to go down too well. It's a controversial idea, to be sure, but you aren't exactly selling it.
And everyone else: cool it! Jeeze.
