Why dont you buy a smaller category Mac? Mac Minis and MacBooks are not at all bad computers. Photoshopping and perhaps (but thats borderline) audio editing work just fine on them. Plus um... You could always create a Hackintosh
Although there are some compatibility issues in special cases (reminds me of Vista). :/
