Thanks for the comments, you two!
Here's a new chapter!
"Are you sure you wanna do this, Amethyst? No one deserves this treatment!" Garnet warned. The twins had grabbed a head each, and Amethyst had an unsure look on her face.
She nodded half-heartedly, and pulled at her end.
Garnet sighed and pulled too. Rex started to scream and he wriggled madly.
Amethyst had a disgusted look on her face, and she clutched at her head with one large hand.
A vision appeared in her mind. It showed Rex being gruesomely ripped apart, green blood and guts flying in all directions, spraying the sisters grossly.
"NO!! WE
CAN'T DO THIS!" Amethyst screamed, and she dropped Rex's heavy head on the floor.
Amethyst clutched her forehead, and crouched on the floor.
"Sis, come on, it's okay!" Garnet cried, as she rubbed her sister's back.
Amethyst snivelled, and stood up. "I've realised how cruel we're being!"
Garnet nodded slowly, and helped her sister up.
Rex stared at them, his body calming.
"What did he do to us?" Amethyst said softly, as she stroked his head.
He was making some sort of purring noise, he must like attention.
Garnet smiled and walked over to the hurt Fleech.
"I'm sorry Mr. Fleech!" she laughed, as she patted him on his long, green, slimy back.
Rex put his head on Garnet's arm, and rubbed it.
"Why thankyou!" she said gratefully, hugging him.
He pulled his head away when he heard a Fleech screech.
Some Fleeches from the forest gathered to the edge, and looked at their master. Rex slithered around, and flopped towards them.
"We'll see you sometime!" Amethyst called, waving her hand at Rexy.
Garnet waved with both hands.
After the waving, they turned around and looked in front of them.
There was a long path going up the side of the gorge.
The twins climbed it, and arrived at the top, where they saw beauty itself.
A beautiful city lay in front of them, and in the horizon, the sunset glowed a pretty orange and red color, lighting the tall towers and houses of the town up.
"Wow..." Garnet said dreamily, squinting at the brightness of the sun.
"It's wonderful!" smiled Amethyst, breathing in the beautiful air.
They sat down on the grass below them, and stared at the sunset for a while, and then gradually darkness fell upon them.
Twinkling stars sparkled in the dark, night sky, and the amazing moon shone down and turned the grass a pearly white color.
"Come on, we'd better get some sleep..." Amethyst ordered, getting on her knees.
"Oh yeah, we need to pray dont we?" Garnet said, as she saw her sister getting ready to pray.
She got on her knees and clapped her hands together.
And they prayed to Shrykull, as the village healer had told them to.
*****
Amethyst heard her sister's loud, annoying snoring.
"Today's been weird... What's going on in with my head?" she thougt, clasping a bunch of grass blades.
"Am I psychic... I saved two lives.."
She huddled up into a ball, the cold of the night air made her freezing cold.
She couldn't take it anymore. Amethyst stood up and crept away, down into the large, crater-like gorge.
"Hello?" she called, hoping that Rex was around.
A long pause passed, and just as she sighed and decided to give up, she heard a loud fleech screech in the forest's direction.
She looked around in the dark, looking for her friend, but she couldn't see him.
Suddenly a loud purring noise came in her ear.
"Hi, boy!" she whispered happily, hugging the unseen Fleech.
He purred in return, and rubbed his biggest head against her.
"What am I gonna do, boy? What am I gonna do..."
