My third grade teacher was a nightmare. She yelled at us all, and I am quite convinced that she hated each and every one of us. Also, once during that year, she struck my hand with a ruler, and hit me over the head with a textbook. What's more, is that when I spoke during a fire drill, she made me copy the entire glossary of my religion book onto looseleaf paper as punishment. Perhaps she is one of the reasons why I resent Catholicism, or religion in general, for that matter
