But all the other Scrabs in the other rooms surely have no way to get out, above the walls, to find a mate?
The short periods of time thing...perhaps, but even so, it seems unlikely that so many small animals find their way into individual Scrab rooms to support such large animals? Scrabs are pretty massive, after all.
