Dionysia made it down to the ground floor and was halfway to the cafeteria when she ran into Shickwayla and Opple. She was confused, having not seen a steef before, but she wasn't the sort to show it so instead she demanded in an unpleasant voice, "Who the Hell are you?"

Krik was rapidly losing control of the situation, so he switched to a smooth voice he used occasionally to calm frightened animals and other lower forms of life, "I'm not lying to you. I'm sorry I got angry before, I just don't want to see another one of her victims break down. Her problem isn't so much flirting as... trying to deceive the people around her. Surely she must have led you on to some extent to make you feel like this for her, even if it was by playing hard to get.
"Surely it's obvious that Dionysia has flaws: her mood swings and her poor abitilty to cope with pain. She was made to trick mudokons but she tries to do so with everyone else as well. I've known this girl her whole life; I know her best."
He certainly did know her best, and he knew just what he wanted to do with her for endangering their lives and jobs like this again.
